Powder Coating Line Supervisor in at Superior Tank

Responsible for operating of all powder coating equipment for the application of epoxy and polyester based powder coating to all components and accessories as required for the bolted tank industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate powder coating equipment to apply coatings to tank components and accessories.
• Adjust powder coating gun controls and oven settings to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
• Maintain an efficient workflow and communicate production delays or issues to management.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support department goals and production needs.
• Identify and report equipment, tooling, or product deficiencies to your supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and promptly report unsafe conditions or practices.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing operating experience.
• At least 3 years of previous powder coating operating experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools to verify part dimensions and quality.
• Basic computer proficiency, including internet browsers, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to learn new software, equipment, and manufacturing systems.
