This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planning Analyst based in India.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to optimize planning, inventory, and operational performance within a fast-paced global environment. In this role, you will leverage data analytics and cross-functional collaboration to improve supply chain efficiency, strengthen inventory management, and enhance end-to-end fulfillment processes. You will play a strategic role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, developing insightful reporting, and supporting key business decisions. Working alongside procurement, logistics, operations, and technology teams, you will help build resilient, data-driven supply chain processes while mentoring colleagues and contributing to long-term operational excellence.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights through reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
- Manage supply planning activities by monitoring inventory levels, supporting demand alignment, initiating purchase requests, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely material availability.
- Oversee end-to-end order management, including Bill of Materials (BOM) administration, drop shipment fulfillment, shortage resolution, and exception management.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, operations, product lifecycle, and vendor teams to maintain efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, planning accuracy, and supply chain performance.
- Improve supply chain visibility by supporting tracking systems, reporting tools, and technology solutions that provide real-time operational insights.
- Perform root cause analysis on operational issues, recommend corrective actions, and implement preventive measures to reduce future disruptions.
- Lead complex analytical initiatives, establish reporting standards, mentor team members, and promote continuous improvement across supply chain planning and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7–10 years of experience in supply chain planning, operations, inventory management, or related analytical roles.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, ERP systems (such as SAP), demand planning tools, dashboards, and supply chain optimization platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookup functions, advanced formulas, charts, and large dataset analysis.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering results within demanding timelines.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, including root cause analysis, trend identification, and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across procurement, logistics, planning, operations, and technology teams.
- Demonstrated leadership experience mentoring colleagues, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and influencing stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
- Familiarity with SQL, supply chain optimization software, APICS certification, or a master's degree in a related field is considered an advantage.
