This leadership role focuses on shaping access strategies that accelerate the adoption of innovative oncology and precision diagnostic solutions. You will translate clinical and economic value into effective coding, coverage, and reimbursement strategies that improve patient access and drive business outcomes. Working across medical, scientific, regulatory, commercial, and product teams, you will influence key decisions throughout the innovation and launch lifecycle. - Develop and execute comprehensive Value & Access strategies, including coding, coverage, and reimbursement plans for oncology diagnostics, precision medicine solutions, and advanced diagnostic technologies.
- Define payer engagement strategies to support appropriate medical policy coverage, reimbursement levels, and long-term market access.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate access risks across commercial, private, and government payer environments.
- Integrate access considerations into innovation programs, product development initiatives, launch planning, and portfolio strategies.
- Contribute to global access strategies across key international markets, including the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams across Product Development, Medical and Scientific Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial functions.
- Serve as a strategic Value & Access advisor for product development, commercialization, and go-to-market decisions.
- Support evidence generation initiatives and communicate the clinical and economic value of diagnostic solutions to key stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with internal leaders, healthcare stakeholders, and external partners to advance access objectives.
- Apply data-driven insights and continuous improvement approaches to optimize access strategies and business impact.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred, such as MBA, MPH, PhD, or PharmD.
- 10+ years of experience in Value & Access, reimbursement, payer engagement, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), or related healthcare strategy roles.
- Experience within diagnostics, medical devices, biotechnology, oncology, or precision medicine environments.
- Strong knowledge of oncology, biomarkers, computational pathology, AI-enabled diagnostics, or related emerging healthcare technologies.
- Proven experience developing or supporting global access strategies across multiple markets and healthcare systems.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively within complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex scientific, clinical, and economic concepts into clear value propositions.
- Experience supporting diagnostics product launches is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with evidence generation, health economic concepts, and data-driven performance management frameworks is a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 30–40% of the time.
- Competitive annual salary range of approximately $160,000–$220,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
