Summary:
Perform under the direction of the VP sales & Marketing in canvassing, selling and maintaining a designated and defined territory - The ideal candidate will reside in Florida.
Responsibilities
- Present Putzmeister product line to potential customers in the construction related fields.
- Travel the designated territory while making sales calls to Putzmeister current customers, competitor users and potential new customers. The emphasis will be on converting competitor users and new prospect opportunities.
- Prepare and negotiate sales quotations of full product offerings including used equipment.
- Consult with potential buyer on best available products and options for the buyers needs
- Present PM and Sany value propositions
- File proper on time sales reporting in accordance with daily and long-term duties. These include but are not limited to: Salesforce data entry and monitoring, weekly Activity Reports, sales quotations, signed sales agreement management, general competition reporting and updates, expense reports, travel schedules market data, etc…
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibits (regional and national when applicable), and seminars including the World of Concrete, annually when selected to attend.
- This position is 75% travel in designated territories/regions
- Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
- Several years in direct customer facing sales position, construction related equipment industry a plus
- Salesforce experience a plus
- Readiness to accept responsibility, make decisions, take risks
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to travel internationally as needed
- Willingness to travel, at times on short notice
- Flexibility, ability to work under pressure
- Open to potential relocation as the opportunity arises
Education/Certification/Training:
- Minimum 2 years of college or equivalent
- Mandatory safety training (see “Total Compliance Management” program)
- On-the-job training
