This role is focused on accelerating AI adoption across the public sector by developing strategic partnerships and market opportunities.
You will drive business growth by connecting government organizations, technology partners, and AI ecosystems.
The position combines business development, strategic planning, and technical understanding of AI infrastructure and solutions.
You will collaborate with sales teams, solution architects, and ecosystem partners to shape impactful AI initiatives.
The role requires a strong understanding of public sector challenges, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
This is an opportunity for a commercially driven professional to help expand AI capabilities and build long-term technology ecosystems.
The professional will lead public sector business development initiatives, creating strategic opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and supporting the adoption of AI platforms across government and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Execute public sector go-to-market strategies and business plans in collaboration with regional sales and marketing teams.
- Develop country-level strategies focused on AI adoption, data residency, security, and compliance requirements.
- Build relationships with government entities, regulators, cloud partners, startups, ISVs, GSIs, and academic institutions.
- Drive strategic engagements that increase platform adoption and expand customer opportunities.
- Identify and develop high-impact accounts and organizations leading AI transformation initiatives.
- Promote end-to-end AI lifecycle solutions, including data preparation, model training, fine-tuning, inference, and deployment.
- Translate governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements into practical AI architecture solutions.
- Support ecosystem development initiatives, including workforce enablement and AI capability building.
- Track business opportunities, customer engagement progress, and market growth initiatives.
- Present technical and business value propositions to senior stakeholders.
- Travel periodically to support customer and partner engagements.
The ideal candidate combines business development expertise, technology market knowledge, and strong communication skills to drive AI-related opportunities within complex public sector environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, enterprise technology sales, or related roles.
- Experience selling technology solutions within high-tech environments.
- Strong understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and the AI ecosystem.
- Ability to analyze markets, identify opportunities, and develop strategic business plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to understand, position, and communicate complex technical solutions effectively.
- Experience enabling AI ecosystems involving developers, startups, academia, and public sector organizations.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Deep knowledge of AI platforms, infrastructure, and machine learning technologies.
- Experience with national AI programs or large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Understanding of AI model lifecycle economics, including training, inference, GPU utilization, and optimization strategies.
