Job Description
Position: Full Stack Engineer
Location: Virtual
Reports To: VP of Development and Technology
National Quality Systems (NQS) is an innovative SaaS company specializing in clinical registry solutions designed to improve healthcare outcomes and optimize hospital revenue. Our platform empowers healthcare providers by leveraging innovative technology and insightful data analysis. Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of coding experience and is proficient in Python, React, SQL, JSON, and XML. This role is fully remote and open to candidates residing in the USA only. Experience in the healthcare industry is a bonus.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications and backend systems using Python and React.
• Build, maintain, and optimize databases using SQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Work with JSON and XML to integrate with third-party APIs and ensure seamless data exchange.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices.
• Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to code reviews, team discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in full-stack development.
Qualifications Required:
• 5-8 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in:
• Backend: Kubernetes, Python, Terraform, RESTful API development.
• Frontend: React, HTML5, CSS3, Typescript, JavaScript.
• Database: SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Data Formats: JSON, XML, CSV.
• Experience building scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Reside and have legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred (Bonus):
• Healthcare domain experience (e.g., EHR systems, clinical registries, HIPAA compliance).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
