Registered Nurse - Infusion Clinic in Taos, New Mexico at Holy Cross Medical Center

The Infusion Clinic Registered Nurse provides overall responsibility for the provision of care to the Infusion Clinic patients. Care is delivered with understanding and compassion in order to support the physical and emotional well being of the patient. Examples of the direct patient care delivered includes the administration of medications, transfusion of blood products, maintenance of peripheral and central lines, and therapeutic phlebotomy. Appropriate documentation is maintained for all direct patient care. Indirect care tasks includes coordination of orders from providers, patient scheduling and registration, billing and the coordination of patient care with other departments including Pharmacy and Nursing. The position is responsible to insure the physical space is maintined in an clean and orderly fashion consistent with a clinical care location. The Infusion Clinic Nurse is reponsible for maintaining adequate supplies to perform department functions placing orders/requistions as needed.

Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited school or college of nursing required.
Current New Mexico license as a Registered Nurse required.
Minimum of one year of comparable experience is required.
BLS Required
ACLS Required
