- Lead the automation scope of capital projects from concept development and detailed engineering through implementation, commissioning, and operational handover.
- Serve as the technical authority for process automation and control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and engineering best practices.
- Deliver control system configuration, lifecycle management, and cybersecurity support for manufacturing facilities across North America and other global locations.
- Collaborate with site leadership, engineering teams, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution and strong stakeholder alignment.
- Monitor project milestones, technical deliverables, and quality standards while ensuring adherence to process safety and regulatory requirements.
- Provide ongoing operational support and technical guidance for distributed control systems and automation infrastructure.
- Support global automation initiatives and participate in occasional domestic and international travel for project execution and commissioning activities.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Controls Engineering within chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or similar process manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience leading automation and control-focused engineering projects from design through implementation.
- Strong expertise with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), including platforms such as Emerson DeltaV, ABB 800xA, Foxboro, Rockwell, or equivalent technologies.
- Deep understanding of process control philosophies, instrumentation, manufacturing operations, and industrial automation best practices.
- Experience supporting industrial cybersecurity initiatives and lifecycle management of automation systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams across multiple functions and geographies.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% domestically, with occasional international travel across North America, South America, and Asia Pacific regions.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred.
