This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack based in United States.

We are seeking a senior full-stack engineer to help evolve a modern platform through meaningful technical improvements and scalable solutions.
This role offers the opportunity to work across backend services, cloud infrastructure, and frontend experiences while solving complex engineering challenges.
You will play a key role in improving system architecture, delivering user-focused solutions, and shaping engineering practices within a growing technology environment.

You will work closely with product and engineering teams, using modern tools including AI-assisted development workflows to build high-quality software efficiently.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack will take ownership of critical platform initiatives, contributing across the technology stack while helping improve engineering quality, scalability, and team effectiveness.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions across backend services, cloud infrastructure, and frontend applications.
  • Own platform improvements by safely evolving existing systems while balancing current requirements with future architecture needs.
  • Build and enhance backend services, APIs, databases, and distributed systems with a focus on reliability and performance.
  • Develop intuitive frontend experiences using modern frameworks and ensure seamless integration between user interfaces and backend services.
  • Contribute to technical architecture discussions, system design decisions, and long-term engineering strategy.
  • Use AI-powered development tools to improve coding efficiency, identify issues earlier, and enhance software quality.
  • Communicate technical decisions, project timelines, trade-offs, and risks clearly with product and engineering stakeholders.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide thoughtful feedback to improve code quality and engineering standards.
  • Mentor teammates through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and constructive technical guidance.
  • Promote engineering practices focused on maintainability, documentation, testing, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with users and stakeholders to understand needs and deliver solutions that create meaningful impact.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced full-stack engineer with strong technical judgment, a passion for building reliable systems, and the ability to navigate complex engineering challenges in a fast-moving environment.

  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience applying it across backend services, APIs, and frontend applications.
  • Experience building and operating cloud-based systems, preferably within AWS environments.
  • Strong backend engineering fundamentals, including database design, API architecture, and service ownership.
  • Experience designing, maintaining, or migrating production systems and improving existing architectures.
  • Frontend development experience, ideally with React or similar modern frameworks.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and scalable application design.
  • Experience using AI tools as part of software development, code review, and problem-solving workflows.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A commitment to writing clean, tested, documented, and maintainable code.
