Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role supports production by minimizing downtime, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Install, replace, and maintain motors, sensors, drives, and control components.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs.
- Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
- Support equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain repair and maintenance records.
- Assist with general facility and building maintenance projects as needed.
- Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance or electro-mechanical experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Technical school, vocational training, or related certification.
- Manufacturing experience.
- PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Textile, carpet, rug, or weaving industry experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work around manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform repairs safely.
