Job Description
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely receipt, storage, inventory management, repair support, integration support, and shipment of customer products. This role provides leadership to warehouse supervisors and coordinators while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, productivity, customer service, and employee engagement.
The Warehouse Manager partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Program Management, Human Resources, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure operational goals are achieved while promoting continuous improvement throughout the warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations across Receiving, Shipping, Inventory, Integration Support, and Repair Support.
- Supervise warehouse coordinators, leads, and hourly employees.
- Develop staffing plans to meet operational requirements.
- Monitor workload, labor utilization, and productivity metrics.
- Ensure all shipments meet customer delivery requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory controls.
- Partner with Quality to resolve inventory discrepancies and nonconforming material.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and housekeeping standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles.
- Analyze warehouse KPIs and develop action plans to improve performance.
- Coach managers and supervisors through performance management, attendance, and employee development.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and succession planning.
- Coordinate with Human Resources regarding staffing and employee relations.
- Maintain compliance with government regulations and company policies.
- Support audits and customer visits.
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and utilization.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Monitor warehouse expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
- Five (5) years of warehouse leadership experience.
- Minimum three (3) years managing supervisors or coordinators.
- Experience within manufacturing, logistics, aerospace, electronics, or defense environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Experience using ERP/WMS systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Continuous Improvement experience.
- OSHA safety knowledge.
- Inventory control and cycle counting experience.
- Experience managing KPIs and operational metrics.
- Experience supporting government or defense contracts preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand and walk throughout warehouse facilities.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment after training, if required.
Work Environment
The Warehouse Manager works in both an office and warehouse environment and is expected to maintain visibility on the warehouse floor while supporting operational priorities. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet customer or business needs.
