- Define, prioritize, and maintain platform roadmaps and backlogs in alignment with multiple product teams and business priorities.
- Lead platform architecture discussions with engineering teams, ensuring scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
- Establish and enforce shared platform standards, APIs, and services that enable consistent and efficient product development.
- Drive product discovery efforts to identify opportunities for automation, AI integration, workflow optimization, and enhanced data capabilities.
- Oversee integration initiatives across product teams to ensure seamless interoperability and system cohesion.
- Collect and synthesize user feedback, market insights, and competitive analysis to inform platform strategy and priorities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align on OKRs, metrics, and delivery plans across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably owning platform, infrastructure, or complex data-driven SaaS products.
- Strong technical fluency with APIs, data systems, and basic query languages; ability to engage deeply with engineering teams.
- Experience with AI/ML tools, generative AI technologies, and modern prototyping or production AI applications.
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS subscription models and payment systems such as credit card and ACH processing.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts including AWS or equivalent platforms (serverless, CDN, observability, scaling).
- Proven experience managing cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, data, and business stakeholders.
- Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple dependencies and competing roadmap demands.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience documenting technical systems, product decisions, and platform standards.
- Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and ability to operate in complex, evolving environments.
Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $165,000 USD, adjusted based on location and experience.
- Fully remote position within the United States.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- Retirement plan with employer contribution and matching options.
- Paid life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment coverage.
- Generous paid time off including PTO, holidays, parental leave, volunteer time, and compassionate leave.
- Short-term and long-term disability insurance.
- Flexible spending accounts and pre-tax transit benefits.
- Supplemental insurance options and summer hours flexibility.
- Opportunity to work on mission-driven products with significant societal impact.
- PSLF-eligible employer supporting long-term public service career pathways.
