Accountabilities:
  • Develop and expand a pipeline of SBA 7(a), 504, Express, and other government-guaranteed loan opportunities through internal partnerships, referral sources, and business development activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, referral partners, and internal stakeholders while identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional financial products and services.
  • Structure SBA lending solutions by evaluating borrower eligibility, reviewing financial statements, conducting preliminary credit analysis, and preparing sound lending recommendations.
  • Prepare complete SBA credit packages, supporting documentation, and commitment materials while ensuring compliance with SBA guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Coordinate loan submissions, underwriting, documentation, and closing activities with processors, attorneys, underwriters, and clients to ensure timely execution.
  • Monitor loan pipelines, maintain accurate reporting and forecasting, complete required compliance activities, and contribute to departmental initiatives and continuous process improvements.
  • Support a culture of ethical banking, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and responsible lending practices across all client interactions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SBA lending or commercial lending with strong knowledge of SBA 7(a), 504, Express, USDA, or other government-backed loan programs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in credit analysis, financial statement evaluation, loan structuring, and SBA compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to generate business through referral networks, cultivate client relationships, and consistently manage a high-volume lending pipeline.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, lending systems, and financial reporting tools, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a goal-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary with eligibility for annual bonus, performance incentives, and equity opportunities.
  • 100% employer-paid medical coverage for employees, with employer contributions toward dependent coverage.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, HSA, and telemedicine benefits.
  • 401(k) plan with a 6% employer match and immediate vesting.
  • Employee stock options and exclusive banking, mortgage, solar loan, and electric vehicle financing benefits.
  • Paid vacation based on role and tenure, paid sick leave, and additional paid holidays.
  • Company-paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, plus optional supplemental insurance.
  • Employee Assistance Program offering counseling, legal, and financial support services.
  • Referral bonus opportunities and a mission-driven workplace focused on professional growth and meaningful impact.
