This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior UX Designer - Retail based in Mexico.
You will join a fast-paced consulting environment focused on shaping and optimizing large-scale digital retail experiences for complex, multi-brand ecosystems. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of UX strategy, product discovery, and delivery execution, ensuring that user experience decisions directly support business and product outcomes. You will be responsible for defining and managing UX roadmaps and backlogs, translating strategic goals into actionable design work, and enabling design teams to deliver consistently within Agile frameworks. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on involvement, including direct collaboration with designers when needed to refine flows and improve usability. You will work closely with product, engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to align priorities and ensure clarity across all phases of delivery. This is a remote Latin America opportunity requiring strong communication skills, structured thinking, and a deep understanding of e-commerce experiences.
- Own and manage the UX roadmap and backlog for a designated retail brand within a multi-brand digital ecosystem.
- Translate product and business strategies into structured UX initiatives, user stories, and prioritized design work.
- Ensure UX delivery is aligned with user needs, business goals, and technical constraints in Agile environments.
- Support and unblock designers during sprint execution by providing context, clarifying requirements, and guiding decisions.
- Conduct design reviews, feedback sessions, and retrospectives to continuously improve design quality and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
- Act as a bridge between UX teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of priorities and trade-offs.
- Occasionally contribute hands-on in Figma to support design refinement, flows, and concept development.
- Support UX research, experimentation, and A/B testing to validate design decisions and improve outcomes.
- 5–10 years of experience in UX or Product Design roles.
- Proven experience managing UX backlogs, roadmaps, and prioritization in Agile environments.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery processes.
- Strong background in e-commerce UX (B2C and/or B2B), supported by case studies or portfolio work.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern design systems for web and mobile products.
- Experience with UX research methods, usability testing, and A/B testing.
- Strong ability to synthesize insights into clear, actionable design direction.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level presentations.
- Experience mentoring or guiding designers in sprint-based delivery teams.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2 level).
