Job Description

Summary:

The Community Banking Manager holds a crucial role in overseeing branch operations with a primary focus on business development within the community they serve. Their responsibilities encompass executing our customer experience strategy, leading and developing a team of dedicated banking professionals, and ensuring adherence to procedural, risk and audit standards. In addition to managing talent within the branch, this role involves strategizing to enhance branch revenue, deposit and loan growth, while closely monitoring key performance indicators. Cultivating, growing, and strengthening customer relationships is a core objective of this position. Responsible for managing a branch with a minimum deposit size of $150,000,000 or a branch-system focusing on business development within the community that they will service.

  • Knowledge of the market, competitor bank products/services and the ability to leverage the advantages of Ephrata National Bank products/services to aid in the production success of the Community Banking branch.
  • Act as a brand ambassador within the community inclusive of actively participating in civic, business and other community activities which gain business opportunities for the Bank. Participate in networking functions and opportunities within respective markets to increase awareness and develop new business.
  • Supervise and oversee the financial results of the branch inclusive of meeting branch production in customer loan lending, deposit growth and business line referrals.
  • Attract, Develop and Retain Top Talent.
  • Drives employee experience to include recruiting, training, coaching, and leading the performance management process
  • Responsible for the continued professional development of the branch team
  • Communicate sales objectives and branch goals to achieve Branch Performance Metrics.
  • Conduct sales meetings and training with employees to review sales & service skills, product knowledge and Branch performance goals and achievements.
  • Develop and implement, with the assistance of the Branch team, a written Sales and Profit plan for the Branch outlining each individual’s goals and objectives based on market opportunity and existing customer base.
  • Provide leadership by example and through coaching, paying particular attention to sales and service performance and providing positive reinforcement, training and support necessary for employee success.
  • Deploy ENB’s customer experience strategy that results in a best-in-class customer experience with increasing share wallet and customer loyalty.
  • Responsible for managing and collaborating with other lines of business to ensure the Bank is able to establish and grow the depth of products and services provided to each customer.
  • Maintain a working understanding of, and comply with bank policies, procedures and applicable banking regulations.
  • Maintains awareness and understanding of current trends within the industry and demonstrate the utilization of the information to assist in job function and offer feedback to management to improve product offerings and/or efficiencies.
  • Complete other duties that may be assigned by management.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience: 4 years of banking, business development or comparable experience; 2 years of people leadership experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead the employee life cycle process
  • Proven skills to effectively manage and have overall responsibility for the financial performance and business outcomes of a complex retail environment or profit center
  • Proven skills to effectively speak before management, employee and customer groups
  • Three years of sales experience including two years in the financial services industry required
  • Successful completion of all Account Opening, Consumer Lending, and IRA required training and obtainment of completion certificates
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Expected to participate in appropriate educational classes as management requires

Supervisory Requirements:

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional work environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, monitors, mouse, keyboard, phones, printers, scanners, photocopiers, filing cabinets, calculator, and fax machines.

Salary: $77,600.00 - $121,250.00

Pay Transparency:

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive-eligible, with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
