Job Description

Patient Coordinator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Patient Coordinator based in Brazil.

This is a remote, patient-facing coordination role focused on supporting individuals as they explore and navigate their healthcare options. You will be the first point of contact for patients, primarily communicating through SMS with occasional phone interactions, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and properly guided toward the next step in their care journey. The role blends empathy, communication, and structured coordination in a fast-paced, on-demand environment. You will work independently while managing real-time conversations, scheduling consultations, and maintaining accurate records. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful, people-centered work with flexibility and autonomy. Every interaction you handle directly contributes to improving a patient’s experience and access to care.

Accountabilities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming patient inquiries via SMS, ensuring clear, empathetic, and supportive communication.
  • Ask thoughtful, open-ended questions to better understand patient needs, concerns, and goals in order to guide them effectively.
  • Schedule consultations and appointments using digital tools such as Calendly, ensuring smooth coordination between patients and providers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions in CRM and scheduling systems, following training and data privacy standards.
  • Build trust and rapport with patients through compassionate, patient-centered communication and consistent follow-up when needed.
  • Support administrative coordination tasks related to patient flow and ensure timely responses during active availability windows.
Requirements:
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly for SMS-based interactions, with clear and professional verbal communication for occasional calls.
  • Empathetic, patient-focused mindset with genuine interest in helping individuals navigate healthcare or wellness-related needs.
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as CRM systems, scheduling platforms, and basic spreadsheet applications.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong attention to accuracy and data privacy in documentation.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, on-call environment while remaining responsive during required availability hours.
  • Prior experience in healthcare, telehealth, customer support, or client coordination is a plus but not mandatory.
Benefits:
  • Competitive monthly compensation ranging from $800 to $1,300 for part-time remote work.
  • Fully remote and flexible working arrangement, adaptable to personal schedules.
  • Opportunity to gain hands-on experience with healthcare and telehealth platforms such as Go High Level, DrChrono, and Calendly.
  • Meaningful, purpose-driven work supporting real patients in their care journey.
  • Exposure to international, fast-growing healthcare operations.
  • Supportive, mission-oriented environment focused on empathy, communication, and human connection.
