Position Summary:
The Head of Commercial Strategy is a senior leadership position responsible for helping shape and accelerate TH Foods' next phase of growth. This role leads commercial strategy, revenue growth management, category leadership, annual planning, and cross-functional commercial integration across Sales, Marketing, Innovation, Finance, Supply Chain.
Essential Duties and Requirements include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead the development and execution of short- and long-term commercial growth strategies that support company objectives and profitable expansion.
- Own Revenue Growth Management (RGM), including pricing, promotion, trade investment, customer profitability, and portfolio optimization.
- Lead enterprise pricing strategy, retail benchmarking, promotional architecture, slotting strategy, and customer marketing investment frameworks.
- Serve as the primary commercial liaison to Product Development and Portfolio Strategy to ensure alignment on innovation pipelines, product launches, positioning, commercialization, channel fit, and customer sell-in strategies.
- Drive cross-channel growth initiatives by leveraging insights across Retail, Club, Foodservice, E-Commerce, Private Label, Co-Manufacturing, and Bulk channels.
- Lead annual operating plan development, strategic planning, and long-range commercial planning, including support of company multi-year growth agendas.
- Partner with Finance, Production Planning, Supply Chain, and Operations on forecasting, pricing, product launches, capacity planning, profitability, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop commercial excellence capabilities, processes, tools, and governance to improve execution, accountability, and decision-making across the organization.
- Lead category management strategy to support distribution gains, assortment optimization, innovation sell-in, customer partnerships, and market share growth.
- Develop executive scorecards, KPIs, dashboards, and business reporting tools to measure commercial performance and strategic progress.
- Provide strategic reporting, business insights, and recommendations to executive leadership, ownership, investors, and external stakeholders as needed.
- Build organizational capability, influence cross-functional teams, and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has supervisory responsibility for the National Trade and Category Manager position.

Essential Skills
This position requires strong commercial strategy, revenue growth management, category management, analytical, financial, communication, influencing, and team facilitation skills. The role further requires executive presence, high business acumen, orientation to detail, quick decision-making ability, and the ability to build alignment across functions in a fast-paced food manufacturing and CPG environment.
Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related discipline required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Related Experience: Minimum 12 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial strategy, sales strategy, category management, marketing, revenue growth management, or related CPG disciplines. Experience in food, snacks, private label, co-manufacturing, or multi-channel consumer products preferred.
Expertise: Advanced knowledge of commercial strategy, pricing, trade investment, customer profitability, forecasting, portfolio strategy, customer planning, and category management concepts, practices, and procedures. Must be able to handle complex tasks and provide experienced guidance to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
Hours of work vary and may include traditional office hours as well as non-traditional hours based on business needs, customer requirements, strategic planning cycles, product launches, or urgent commercial priorities.
Language Skills
This position requires the ability to read, write, and speak English to review business plans, customer materials, pricing documents, contracts, reports, and correspondence; communicate with customers, employees, executives, ownership, and external stakeholders; and make presentations when required.
Mathematical Skills
Mental ability is required to complete business-related math, pricing analysis, margin and profitability analysis, forecasting, promotional return analysis, and other commercial financial calculations. This role requires the ability to interpret data and maintain self-control during high-degree-of-stress periods.
Computer Skills
This position requires at least intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and business reporting tools. Experience utilizing Circana (IRI), NielsenIQ, SPINS, Numerator, syndicated data tools, ERP/reporting systems, dashboard platforms, and other commercial analytics resources is preferred.
Reasoning Ability
This position requires the ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, evaluate alternatives, and draw valid conclusions. The role must be able to balance customer, channel, financial, operational, and strategic considerations in the accomplishment of company goals.
Physical Ability
