As a Prep Cook, you'll play an essential role in supporting our culinary team by preparing high-quality ingredients, maintaining an organized kitchen, and ensuring chefs have everything they need to deliver outstanding meals for hotel guests and special events.

Requested Tasks
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, peeling, measuring, and portioning according to recipes and production needs.
- Assist chefs with the preparation of menu items for restaurant service, banquets, catering events, and special functions.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations, prep areas, storage spaces, and kitchen equipment.
- Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
- Properly label, date, rotate, and store food products in accordance with food safety standards.
- Receive, organize, and stock kitchen deliveries and inventory.
- Support culinary staff during meal service and event execution as needed.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all health department regulations, food safety practices, and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional kitchen environment at all times.
Requested Capabilities
- Previous experience as a prep cook or in a commercial kitchen preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to accurately follow recipes and written or verbal instructions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Dependable, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive kitchen tasks
- Ability to safely use kitchen tools, equipment, and knives
