• Serve as the technical authority for enterprise financial systems, billing platforms, and data solutions by defining architecture standards, engineering principles, and technology strategies.
• Design and oversee scalable, secure, highly available, and resilient distributed systems across enterprise platforms.
• Lead architecture reviews, provide technical guidance to engineering teams, and identify solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion pipelines, high-volume transaction processing systems, pricing engines, and enterprise data platforms.
• Guide the development of cloud-native solutions using AWS services, serverless architectures, and modern engineering practices.
• Drive platform modernization initiatives across applications, infrastructure, integrations, and data environments.
• Champion the adoption of AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI systems, and AI-assisted software development practices.
• Partner with data science teams to implement machine learning and advanced analytics solutions that improve business outcomes.
• Establish software engineering best practices across architecture, design patterns, testing, security, DevOps, and operational excellence.
• Mentor engineers, conduct technical design reviews, and promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Improve engineering productivity through automation, low-code solutions, and platform tooling.
• Lead incident response activities for critical production issues and drive root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Collaborate with executives, business stakeholders, and engineering leaders to align technology investments with strategic objectives.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business-focused recommendations and contribute to long-term technology planning.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience providing technical leadership across multiple teams or large-scale technology platforms.
• Expert-level experience with Python, C#, and .NET Core.
• Deep expertise in software architecture, distributed systems design, and enterprise application development.
• Strong experience designing and building cloud-native applications using AWS.
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, Snowflake, SQL optimization, data modeling, and enterprise-scale data solutions.
• Experience implementing event-driven architectures, microservices, and modern integration patterns.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale modernization, transformation, or platform evolution initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, agentic AI systems, or AI-powered enterprise solutions.
• Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce integrations is preferred.
• Familiarity with low-code platforms such as OutSystems is a plus.
• Experience with financial systems, billing platforms, pricing engines, revenue management solutions, enterprise data lakes, analytics platforms, or data mesh architectures is preferred.

• Competitive annual base salary range of approximately $118,600–$165,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and education.
