Position SummaryThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and a safe, organized warehouse. This position works closely with production and other departments to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time.
ScheduleMonday – Thursday
5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays or as business needs require.
Essential Responsibilities- Receive incoming materials and verify shipments for accuracy
- Pick, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Load and unload trucks safely
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided if qualified)
- Move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Use computers and warehouse software to complete transactions
- Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements
- Assist other departments as needed to support business operations
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of warehouse or material handling experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to read work orders, labels, and shipping documents
Preferred:
- Experience in fiberglass, plastics, or heavy manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, Oracle, or similar)

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Good communication skills with production and logistics teams
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and varying temperatures
