This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Insurance Customer Relations Specialist based in the United States.
This remote, customer-focused role offers an opportunity to build a career in personal lines insurance while helping customers understand and manage their coverage.
You will support customers by phone and digital channels, handling policy servicing, billing questions, coverage changes, and insurance quotes.
The position combines customer service, sales support, problem-solving, and insurance education in a structured, fast-paced environment.
You will work with multiple insurance carriers and serve customers across all 50 states, gaining broad exposure to insurance products and regulations.
The role includes pre-licensing training and requires obtaining a Property & Casualty insurance license.

- Deliver an excellent customer experience by building rapport, understanding customer needs, gathering relevant information, and providing knowledgeable support in a fast-paced environment.
- Answer incoming customer calls and assist with servicing and maintaining existing insurance accounts.
- Educate customers on their insurance needs, explain available coverage options, and provide estimates for additional or expanded coverage.
- Research, analyze, and resolve questions related to policies, coverage, billing, and account changes while communicating information clearly.
- Quote additional insurance products, prepare and complete applications, and follow up to obtain any required information or documentation.
- Navigate multiple systems simultaneously, including quoting platforms, insurance applications, customer records, and communication tools, while maintaining accurate data entry.
- Meet individual performance objectives related to productivity, customer satisfaction, service quality, and other defined metrics.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable insurance products, carrier requirements, and state-specific regulations.
- Participate in required pre-licensing training and obtain and maintain the necessary Property & Casualty insurance licensing.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive, supportive team environment.
- Remain available for overtime when business needs require additional coverage.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree is a plus.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably within insurance or a related industry.
- Active Resident Property & Casualty Insurance Producer license required, with eligibility to obtain licensing in all applicable states.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain insurance concepts and policy information clearly to customers.
- Strong interpersonal and empathy skills, with a customer-first mindset and the ability to build trust during customer interactions.
- Knowledge of multiple insurance carriers and state insurance regulations is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Solid computer and typing skills, including proficiency in a Windows-based environment and the ability to work efficiently across multiple applications.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and a high standard of customer service.
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday on a scheduled shift aligned with one of the following time zones: 9 AM–6 PM PST, 11 AM–8 PM CST, or 12 PM–9 PM EST.
- Ability to work effectively from home with a dedicated, quiet workspace, reliable high-speed internet, and the ability to participate in virtual meetings and training.
- Competitive salary, with state-based ranges of approximately $40,066–$61,212, depending on location, experience, and skills.
