Assistant Community Manager – Gainesville, GA Area
A well-established multifamily property management company is seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager to join the team at a large apartment community in the Gainesville, GA area.
This position is ideal for an experienced Assistant Manager who understands the operational and financial side of property management and is comfortable taking an active role in leasing, resident relations, collections, renewals, and day-to-day community operations.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Community Manager with the overall operation and performance of the community.
- Manage and actively participate in resident collections and delinquency follow-up.
- Oversee the renewal process, including preparing offers, resident follow-up, and monitoring retention.
- Support leasing activity and help the team achieve occupancy and leasing goals.
- Respond to resident concerns and assist with resolving resident relations issues professionally and promptly.
- Assist with monthly reporting, financial performance, and expense management.
- Ensure resident files, lease documentation, notices, and other community records are accurate and complete.
- Provide leadership and support to the onsite team in the Community Manager's absence.
- Help maintain a strong resident experience while supporting the overall financial and operational goals of the community.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Assistant Manager at a multifamily community with 300+ units.
- Experience overseeing leasing, renewals, collections, resident relations, and financial performance.
- Strong working knowledge of multifamily property management operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing delinquency and resident collections.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced property environment.
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office.
