WHEDA is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Commercial Loan Servicing Team in our Madison facility.
SALARY: Hiring Range for this position is from $67,022-$82,559 Annually. Offered Salary will be based on qualifications and internal pay equity. WHEDA provides a competitive salary and WHEDA employees participate in the State of Wisconsin benefit package which includes retirement, health insurance and deferred compensation programs.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Quality Assurance Analyst position is responsible for providing expert analytical support and quality control to the Commercial Loan Servicing Department for all multifamily affordable housing and economic development programs administered by WHEDA. This includes ensuring strict and timely compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines, financing sources, regulations, contracts, and department policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Recommends and assists with development of quality control reports and software functionality including edits and testing updates; analyzes and evaluates report data to assess the effectiveness of policies and procedures; prepares recommendations for changes in operational and administrative processes.
- Monitors timeliness and completeness of tasks required under government housing regulations and contracts; prepares reports; services, monitors & collects documentation for specific programs/products within the Risk Team as required.
- Performs quality control audits of contract renewals, rent adjustments, vouchers, management and occupancy reviews, and resident concerns to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and federal regulations.
- Evaluates and modifies business group processes and workflow for improved compliance and efficiency; ensures training and operational assistance is provided for staff and customers. Assists management in identifying, developing, and implementing tools needed to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Responds to requests for information and provides subject matter expert guidance to other departments, customers, the public, and/or outside agencies.
- Participates in cross‐functional groups to assist in strategic focus planning and program planning and evaluation. • Performs or assists with other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Quality Assurance, Information Technology, or a closely related field AND 3 years of professional level experience related to quality assurance; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Moderate to High Excel Skills preferred.
