Home Instead® is looking for a dependable multi-tasker to join us in our mission to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families.

Home Instead® is a locally owned and operated non-medical home care agency in Staten Island, NY. We help seniors safely and independently age in place by providing personalized, vital care, including assisting with activities of daily living, safety supervision, companionship, and personal care, as well as providing memory-related care needs.
This Client Care/Scheduling/Staffing Coordinator role Client connects our caregiving workforce with our senior clients


Responsibilities
  • We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Client Care/Scheduling/Staffing Coordinator to help manage client intake, scheduling, and ongoing care coordination
  • Coordinate new client referrals and admissions
  • Schedule and assign Care Professionals/Caregivers, Home Health Aides, and Personal Care Aides based on client needs, availability, and experience
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, caregivers, and client contacts
  • Manage client intake, onboarding, and follow-up communications
  • Track visits, authorizations, documentation, and scheduling changes within the scheduling software system
  • Maintain accurate client records and data entry
  • Handle inbound calls, client inquiries, and scheduling requests
  • Communicate with care professionals/caregivers regarding schedules, documentation, and client status updates
  • Support day-to-day operations to ensure timely and efficient client care delivery
Qualifications
  • This position is ideal for candidates with experience in medical scheduling, client coordination, case coordination, or client intake
  • 1+ year of experience in a home care agency, healthcare office, scheduling care, or client coordination position
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent phone, communication, and customer service skills
  • Comfortable working with computers, scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and data entry
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and problem solving in a fast-paced home care environment
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, dependable, and professional
