Thrive Therapies is seeking Special Education Teachers to support our school partners for the 20262027 school year.

What You'll Do

As a Special Education Teacher, you will:

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Create structured, supportive, and engaging learning environments
• Differentiate instruction to meet a range of academic, behavioral, and developmental needs
• Monitor student progress and use data to inform instruction and IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related-service providers, behavior teams, paraprofessionals, and school leadership
• Partner with families and school teams to support student progress
• Maintain required documentation and ensure services are delivered in accordance with student IEPs and applicable requirements

Opportunities May Include

We recruit Special Education Teachers across a variety of settings and grade levels, including:

• Low-Incidence Special Education Elementary, Middle, and High School
• High-Incidence Special Education
• Special Education Content Specialists, including Math and ELA

Specific assignments will be discussed based on experience, certification, location, and current school-partner needs.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Special Education, or a related field
• Active Special Education teaching certification/license in the state of employment or eligibility and willingness to obtain the appropriate state certification/license
• Experience supporting students with disabilities in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP implementation and individualized instruction
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary school teams
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments
• Ability to meet applicable background and school-partner clearance requirements
• Ability and willingness to work on-site for the position
