JOB TITLE: LBV Server Assistant
DEPARTMENT: LBV F&B
FLSA: Non-Exempt
LOCATION: New Cumberland, WV
WAGE: $10.00 - $15.00
REPORTS TO: LBV Manager
SUMMARY
The food and beverage server assistant supports the front – of – house service team by ensuring a seamless dining experience for guest in a fast paced, upscale steakhouse environment. This role is responsible for the delivery of food, table maintenance, dining room set up, and assisting servers with all aspects of service. The ideal candidate
is attentive, organized, oriented, and committed to providing exceptional hospitality.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver food accurately and efficiently from the kitchen to the guest table
- Verify food orders for accuracy before delivery
- Assist servers with table service and guest request as needed
- Communicate efficiently with kitchen staff and service teal members to ensure smooth operations
Table Maintenance:
- Clean and reset tables promptly and professionally
- Pre-bus tables as guest finish courses
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in dining room
- Refill water glasses and assist with beverage service when needed
Dining Room Setup:
- Set tables accordingly to restaurant standards including linens, silverware, glassware, and table décor
- Ensure service stations are fully stocked before, doing, and after service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
Guest Experience:
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
- Support service team in providing exceptional guest service
- Respond promptly to guest needs and request
- Uphold the restaurants standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and service excellence
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the LBV Manager then to the Director of F&B.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing
- Must be able to pass a background investigation
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience in fine dining preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a high volume upscale dining environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods of time
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to exceptional guest service and attention to detail
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES
Helpful to be TIPS and Food Handlers certified, if not training will be provided.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
You will need to be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. The ability to push, pull, kneel, twist, carry and lift up to 25 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment and seasonal elements.
