  • Lead requirements gathering and translate stakeholder needs into well-defined user stories, epics, themes, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.

  • Work closely with customers and program teams to ensure requirements are clearly documented and aligned with mission objectives and platform capabilities.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of ServiceNow configuration, including user and group management, catalog items, workflows, and relevant platform functionality during technical discussions.

  • Apply ServiceNow expertise across Platform, ITSM+, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Workplace Service Delivery (WSD) capabilities to support requirements definition.

  • Develop and maintain the Software Requirements Document, including detailed functional and technical specifications for individual user stories.

  • Collaborate with the Solutions Architect and Scrum Master to define project scope and estimate levels of effort.

  • Identify critical requirements and use cases that should be included in recurring regression testing to help maintain platform reliability.

  • Support agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, backlog management, and backlog refinement.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines extensive ServiceNow platform and configuration experience with a strong background in agile requirements management and federal customer engagement. You should be able to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders while translating complex needs into practical solutions.

  • At least 7 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including configuration knowledge and hands-on experience.

  • At least 7 years of experience as a Requirements Specialist supporting an Agile Development Program.

  • Mandatory experience in the ServiceNow agile development domain.

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow configuration capabilities, best practices, and evolving platform features.

  • Experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and/or Workplace Service Delivery (WSD) modules.

  • Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing requirements in an agile environment, including sprint planning, backlog management, backlog grooming, and user story development.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document requirements clearly and facilitate productive stakeholder discussions.

  • Strong teamwork and customer engagement capabilities, with experience collaborating across technical and business teams.

  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
