Child Care Aides/Substitutes (Age 18+) in Damascus, Maryland at Bright Eyes Early Learning Centers

Bright Eyes Early Learning Center of Damascus is seeking fun, caring, eager to learn staff to join our team. Our Assistant Teachers/Aides are responsible for assisting teachers as part of a team with the care and education of children, assisting in classroom activities, and supervising the safety and wellbeing of all children.

ALL Candidates MUST:

Requirements for all applicants:
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Complete a physical and TB test
• Complete fingerprinting and pass a criminal background check.
• CPR & First Aid Certification or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire date.
• Prior Child Care experience is preferred, but not required.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have a valid work permit, if applicable
• Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player.
• Must be dependable and responsible.
• Must be willing to work with all age groups, including diapering and assisting with toileting.
• Experience in a childcare setting is preferred, but not required
• Proof of trainings and certifications, if applicable.
• Be able to complete required Early Childhood coursework online and in class.
