Field Marketing Manager
Position Summary
The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for executing local marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, support customer acquisition, and strengthen community relationships within assigned markets. This role leads grassroots marketing, community events, government relations, product launches, sponsorships, and business partnerships in support of company growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute grassroots brand and marketing campaigns that drive awareness, leads, and customer growth.
- Build relationships with local government officials, chambers of commerce, community organizations, schools, businesses, developers, and other key stakeholders.
- Represent the company at community events, public meetings, trade shows, sponsorships, and business functions.
- Plan and support product launches, new market openings, network expansions, and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate local marketing efforts with Sales, Operations, Construction, Customer Experience, and Corporate Marketing.
- Local business partnership sand sales to drive customer growth and awareness.
- Identify partnership, sponsorship, referral, and business development opportunities.
- Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, customer feedback, and community concerns.
- Manage event logistics, vendors, promotional materials, budgets, and campaign timelines.
- Track campaign results, lead generation, event performance, and return on investment.
- Ensure all local marketing activities align with company brand standards and business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in field marketing, community relations, business development, or regional marketing.
- Telecommunications, broadband, cable, utility, or technology experience preferred.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, public speaking, and project management skills.
- Experience managing community events, local campaigns, vendors, and budgets.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel frequently within assigned markets.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Success Measures
Success will be measured by growth in brand awareness, customer acquisition, community partnerships, product launch performance, event effectiveness, market share, and marketing return on investment.
Working Conditions
This position requires frequent travel as well as evening and weekend work. The employee may be required to transport event materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
