Job Description
The Sales Success Manager owns the systems, processes, and performance framework that drive Loan Originator productivity from onboarding through full ramp. This role is responsible for tracking producer success, managing ramp milestones, optimizing lead management processes, and providing leadership with visibility into team performance through data, reporting, and analytics. While Sales Managers own day-to-day coaching and people leadership, the Sales Success Manager ensures the systems and accountability structure supporting those efforts are effective and scalable.
What you will do:
- Own the ramp plan and performance status of every Loan Originator, serving as the primary resource for ramp progress and productivity tracking.
- Identify and proactively flag at-risk new hires to Sales Managers, enabling early intervention and improved retention outcomes.
- Run a structured handoff at the end of each new hire's ramp period so heightened tracking tapers off deliberately.
- Build and maintain real-time performance dashboards tracking certifications, first meeting booked, first opportunity created, first deal closed, quota attainment, and ramp progression.
- Develop and maintain automated reporting that provides Sales Managers and Leadership with accurate, actionable performance insights.
- Analyze hiring and performance data to identify the candidates most likely to succeed and provide recommendations to Recruiting and Sales Leadership.
- Own lead routing, prioritization, and follow-up cadence across the CRM and dialer stack (e.g., HubSpot, LendingWise, Aircall) so no lead goes stale.
- Build and enforce follow-up playbooks and SLAs; monitor response times and conversion by rep and pipeline stage.
- Design and maintain the 30/60/90/120/180-day milestone framework that Sales Managers execute against and the Corporate Trainer certifies within.
- Provide the logging system Sales Managers use for check-ins, and the cadence/process behind deal and call reviews.
- Analyze onboarding, ramp, and production trends to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Partner with Recruiting, Training, and Sales Leadership to continuously refine hiring profiles, onboarding programs, and performance benchmarks.
- Present regular performance insights and recommendations to Sales Leadership and Executive Leadership.
How Success Is Measured:
- New hire ramp milestone attainment
- Time-to-productivity for Loan Originators
- First-year retention rates
- Lead response and follow-up SLA compliance
- Dashboard adoption and reporting accuracy
- Lead conversion rates across the sales funnel
- Reduction in lead aging and stale lead volume
- Predictive accuracy of ramp and performance reporting
- 3–5+ years in private or consumer lending, mortgage, or sales success/operations, ideally supporting a Loan Originator or originator population.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and dialer platforms (e.g., HubSpot, a loan origination system such as LendingWise, Aircall or similar).
- A track record designing ramp scorecards, dashboards, or milestone frameworks from scratch.
- A data-oriented approach: comfortable building and reading dashboards and diagnosing where a process — not an individual rep — is breaking down.
- Strong cross-functional communication — you drive accountability through Sales Managers, not around them.
- Advanced proficiency with sales reporting, CRM analytics, and dashboard development.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, including experience building reports, dashboards, and performance tracking models.
- Strong project management and process improvement skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Recruiting, Training, Operations, and Sales Leadership.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
