Endoscopy Technician in Lafayette, Louisiana at Acadiana Endoscopy Center Inc

Acadiana Endoscopy Center is an ambulatory surgery center composed of accomplished professionals providing exceptional patient care in the field of gastroenterology and endoscopy services.

Responsibilities:

· Cleans and disinfects endoscopes and other equipment used for gastroenterology procedures.

· Maintains required data logs that are used in the reprocessing area.

· Assists in performing inventory counts for supplies.

· Assists in storing and restocking supplies.

· Cleans patient care areas and equipment according to established policies and procedures.

· Assist the nurses in admit, recovery and in the procedure room with patient care.

· Maintains patient privacy in conjunction with company policies, HIPAA guidelines and all relevant government regulations.

· Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment and universal precautions.

· Displays respectful behavior towards others.

Qualifications:

· High school graduate or equivalent.

· Experience working in an Endoscopy Center is preferred.

· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required.

· Able to be physically active 80% of the time.

· Must be able to routinely lift 20lbs.

Hours of Work:

Monday – Friday, 6:45am to 4pm.
