We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Storeperson to join our team at Toscano's Kew.

This is a full-time role (38 hours per week) and is a physically demanding, fast-paced position. You'll be handling fresh produce deliveries, “breaking down” pallets, moving stock, working in cool rooms and helping keep our Produce Department running efficiently each day.

We're looking for someone who enjoys physical work, works with a sense of urgency, follows directions well, and takes pride in doing things properly.

The Role

• Receiving and unloading fresh produce deliveries;

• Breaking down pallets and putting stock away;

• Rotating stock using FIFO principles;

• Setting up produce areas and preparing produce cuts, including pumpkins and watermelons;

• Operating manual and electric pallet jacks;

• Working in cool rooms for extended periods; and

• Keeping storage and work areas clean, safe and organised.

About You

• Physically fit and capable of heavy manual work;

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment;

• Works with a sense of urgency;

• Follows instructions and procedures well;

• Reliable, punctual and safety conscious;

• Able to work independently and as part of a team;;

• Previous produce, warehouse, logistics or storeperson experience as well as experience using an electric pallet jack and a forklist licence will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Availability

• Full-time, 38 hours per week

• 5 days per week, including Saturdays

• Early morning starts (from 5:00am)
