Primary Location & Hours:
- Medical City Dallas Campus: 7777 Forest Lane, Suite C-528, Dallas, TX, 75230
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform patient intake procedures, including recording vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms with accuracy and compassion.
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as administering medications, documenting in the chart and post op and minor surgical procedures.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information, treatment plans, ICD coding, and medical histories.
- Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes clearly and ensuring comfort throughout their visit.
- Support medical administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate documentation of all patient interactions.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with patients, providers, staff, and external stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience working in a medical office is required
- Hands-on experience with EHR systems and familiarity with ICD coding is essential for accurate documentation
- Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, medication administration, and vital signs measurement
- Should have great customer service skills and excellent communication skills as well as be a team player
- Basic knowledge of medical office workflows, patient scheduling processes, and healthcare documentation practices.
Education / Experience:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience working in a healthcare office, medical practice, clinic, or related healthcare environment
Preferred:
- Medical Assistant certification or Medical Office Assistant certification.
- Bilingual Spanish with English is preferred.
