Overview
The Insurance and Risk Management Analyst provides analysis, policy, systems, and fieldwork support to the University's student television and film production. Partner with insurance department managers and key stakeholders in various schools to develop, revise, and implement risk mitigation and safety-related policies programs, and procedures to ensure the University remains compliant with internal and external policies and regulations. Conduct research and review insurance requests and submissions to determine the potential exposure. Prepare various analyses and reports that monitor and track risk management events, safety, quality, and communications issues with productions.
Responsibilities
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience:
3+ years relevant experience in TV or film production including insurance or risk management.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to analyze, interpret and present data. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers such as students, faculty, and Insurers.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $76,991.75 to USD $96,991.75. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
