Schedule Details:
Holidays - Every Other Holiday, Monday through Friday, On Call - Required, Weekends - Every Third Weekend
Scheduled Hours:
Can be any shift as needed. 8hr shifts. Possible schedule Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm with weekend on-call and holiday on-call.

Performs a minimum of three procedures in the neurodiagnostic lab. These procedures include EEG, EMG, Autonomic testing, Evoke Potentials, OR Monitoring, or assisting with BOTOX treatments. May assist in the training of other technicians.
I. Major Responsibilities:
1. Performs standard and complex neurodiagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. Adapts procedures to particular clinical circumstances.
2. Provides on call coverage as required.
3. Schedules patients and performs other related clerical, technical, and functional duties in the lab.
4. Maintains current registration and/or works towards registration
5. Trains new hires and acts as a preceptor for students or new staff
6. Troubleshoots equipment and coordinates repairs
7. Performs all other tasks as needed
II. Position Qualifications:
License/Certification/Education:
Required:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
1. Associates degree or higher
2. ABRET or AAET registration in at least one neurodiagnostic specialty.
Experience/Skills:
Required:
1. One to two year’s experience in patient care setting.
2. Demonstrated ability to perform neurodiagnostic testing
3. Excellent communication skills necessary, both oral and written to interact with staff, physicians and patients.
Preferred:
1. Demonstrated proficiency in multiple neurodiagnostic test modalities.
2. Two or more years of patient care experience
Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
