Anesthesiologist in Salem, Virginia at Posterity Group LLC

Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing the Salem VA Healthcare System with Anesthesiologists. The Anesthesiologist are expected to perform the following:

Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Direction of perioperative anesthetic care to patients
• Preoperative Assessments
• Intraoperative anesthetic administration and monitoring
• Post-anesthesia Care
• Providing anesthetic care for general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, ophthalmology,
• diabetic foot and oral surgery in OR, PACU, ICU ward and clinic settings
• Participating in the development and implementation of program planning, objectives, policies, and standards essential to delivery of quality anesthetic care

• Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
• Residency Training: Physicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
