What You'll Do:
This role supports Aerzen’s aftermarket strategy by combining proactive customer and installed base engagement with data-driven operations support. The position will contact customers to validate equipment information, identify service opportunities, and improve installed base visibility, while also maintaining accurate data, reporting, and operational insights across ERP and CRM systems for blower, turbo blower, and compressor product lines.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Customer and Installed Base Engagement
- Proactively contact customers with existing Aerzen equipment to validate installed base information and improve asset visibility.
- Gather and document critical asset data including active vs. inactive machine status, operating hours, operating conditions, maintenance practices, service history, and spare parts usage.
- Ask structured questions to better understand customer needs, equipment utilization, maintenance challenges, and potential service risks.
- Identify opportunities for equipment health checks, inspections, service visits, spare parts support, and other aftermarket follow-up in collaboration with Sales, Service, and Parts teams.
- Ensure customer-provided and field-sourced information is accurately entered, updated, and maintained in the appropriate ERP and CRM systems.
- Data, Reporting, and Operational Support
- Manage, clean, and maintain data across ERP and CRM systems in support of aftermarket sales, service, and installed base management.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity related to customer accounts, installed base records, service history, operating hours, warranties, and spare parts activity.
- Maintain dashboards, reports, and tracking tools that support sales and service functions, including visibility to asset status, service opportunities, data gaps, and aftermarket activity.
- Analyze customer behavior, asset usage, service performance, and equipment lifecycle information to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
- Translate customer-sourced and operational data into actionable insights that improve service planning, aftermarket follow-up, and decision making.
Position Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field. Equivalent experience in customer service, inside sales, or technical support will be considered.
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, sales support, or a data-driven role.
Experience working with CRM/ERP systems is preferred.
Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical equipment environments is a plus.
Language Proficiency: English (Required), Spanish (Preferred, Not Required)

Able to effectively balance customer outreach with data analysis while maintaining strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Works collaboratively across teams, follows defined processes, and shows a strong willingness to learn, take feedback, and continuously improve.
Software/Applications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to navigate file structures, folders, and shared drives in a professional business environment.
Experience working with ERP and CRM systems is required; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Salesforce is strongly preferred.
Other:
Ability to travel minimally less than 5% of the time.
