THE POSITION…
As the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the company adheres to regulatory standards and customer requirements through audits, policy development, and risk mitigation strategies. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to drive compliance while promoting a culture of accountability within the organization.
THIS POSITION MAY BE FOR YOU IF…
- You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- You have a minimum of 10 years of experience working in a quality role in the aviation industry.
- You have a working knowledge of regulatory standards in relation to FAA requirements.
- You have a working knowledge of industry quality management systems such as AS9100 or ISO9000.
- You have experience in coordinating/conducting audits and managing corrective actions.
- You can collect and interpret information to make data-based decisions that drive improvement.
- You have experience working with internal and external customers.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
- You have strong attention to detail.
- You are organized, focused and results oriented.
- You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.
- You have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
WE WOULD REALLY LIKE IT IF… (but it’s not a deal breaker)
- You have previous experience in an organization with ODA designation.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT…
- Prepare for and manage onsite audits to include hosting external customer and regulatory auditors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality compliance throughout the product lifecycle
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality and compliance
- Develop and conduct training sessions for employees on quality systems, regulatory standards, and best practices
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance trends to ensure that the company adheres to new and changing laws
- Develop, implement, and monitor QMS in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
