What You'll Do
- Support production by troubleshooting manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production standards.
- Manage engineering projects, including equipment installations and process improvements.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and meet business objectives.
- Support new product launches and manufacturing planning activities.
- Analyze production data and downtime trends to improve overall equipment effectiveness.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in a metal fabrication, stamping, or similar manufacturing environment.
- Experience with process improvement, troubleshooting, and project management.
- Working knowledge of CAD software and manufacturing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments.
- Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
- Frequent walking throughout the production facility.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and occasionally climb stairs or ladders.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to safely access and inspect manufacturing equipment.
- Visual ability to review production processes, equipment, and technical drawings.
