This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Architect / Internal Design - EV Construction based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the design of facilities supporting the rapidly growing electric vehicle ecosystem. You’ll contribute to architectural design, BIM coordination, and documentation across a portfolio of EV operations facilities. The position combines technical architectural expertise with advanced Revit and BIM capabilities to create scalable, efficient, and compliant solutions. You’ll work across multiple concurrent projects, balancing design quality, consistency, and delivery requirements. Your work will help establish repeatable prototypes, standards, and workflows that improve efficiency across future projects. This is an ideal environment for an architect who enjoys technically complex work, collaboration, and process improvement.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop architectural drawing packages for multiple concurrent EV facility projects, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and other construction documentation.
  • Produce site layouts, feasibility studies, and early-stage design concepts for new and existing EV operations facilities.
  • Research applicable building and construction codes across multiple jurisdictions and prepare site-specific code analyses.
  • Coordinate architectural layouts with project requirements, owner standards, internal design criteria, and other project constraints.
  • Maintain consistency and quality across a portfolio of prototype-based facilities and incorporate client feedback through design reviews.
  • Create and maintain accurate Revit models throughout the design process, supporting coordinated and reliable BIM deliverables.
  • Perform BIM model quality reviews, including audits, cleanup, organization, and data integrity checks.
  • Develop and maintain BIM standards, templates, families, shared parameters, project documentation, and other reusable resources.
  • Support model organization and file management while promoting consistent documentation practices across projects.
  • Contribute to standardized prototype documents and identify opportunities to improve efficiency across recurring facility types.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to coordinate design information and maintain alignment between architectural, BIM, and project requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards for accuracy, organization, and communication.
  • Adhere to applicable internal controls and SOX-related responsibilities where required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Licensed Architect or actively pursuing professional licensure.
  • 6+ years of relevant architectural experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Bluebeam.
  • Demonstrated experience producing schematic design and design development documentation.
  • Strong experience with BIM model management, quality control, and documentation standards.
  • Strong understanding of construction codes and the ability to research, interpret, and apply applicable requirements across different jurisdictions.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
  • Excellent organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to design documentation and model management.
  • Experience with EV, automotive, industrial, mission-critical, or prototype facility design is preferred.
  • Familiarity with sustainability principles and energy-efficient design strategies is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Workspace and Miro is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders while working independently when required.
Benefits:
  • Annual base salary range of $120,000–$150,000 USD, depending on experience, qualifications, role level, and location.
  • Opportunity to work on projects supporting the expanding electric vehicle and mobility infrastructure sector.
  • Exposure to a diverse portfolio of multi-location architectural and construction projects.
  • Opportunity to contribute to standardized design approaches, BIM workflows, and scalable prototype facilities.
  • Collaborative environment combining architectural, BIM, project management, and technical expertise.
  • Opportunities to develop expertise in EV, industrial, and other technically complex facility environments.
  • Equal opportunity workplace committed to an inclusive and respectful professional environment.
  • Reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
