Outbound Sales Development Representative

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Outbound Sales Development Representative based in the United States.

This is a remote opportunity to launch or accelerate your sales career within a fast-growing SaaS environment.
You’ll be responsible for creating new business opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting across calls, email, and social channels.
The role combines relationship building, consultative selling, and problem-solving as you connect with construction professionals facing real operational challenges.
You’ll develop strong product expertise, qualify prospects, and create high-quality opportunities for Account Executives.
As you build your pipeline and consistently deliver results, you’ll have clear metrics and a structured framework to support career progression.
The environment encourages experimentation, continuous learning, competitive energy, and the practical use of AI to work more effectively.
It’s an ideal role for a driven, coachable, and curious professional who wants meaningful ownership and a clear path forward in sales.

Accountabilities:
  • Conduct strategic outbound prospecting through phone calls, emails, and social channels to identify and engage potential customers.
  • Communicate the value of an all-in-one SaaS solution in a way that resonates with construction professionals and their specific business challenges.
  • Build relationships with prospects by listening carefully, understanding their needs, and connecting those needs to relevant solutions.
  • Qualify prospects effectively and schedule high-quality product demonstrations with Account Executives.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while coordinating follow-up strategies with the broader sales team.
  • Become a knowledgeable product expert capable of confidently explaining how the platform addresses real customer problems.
  • Track prospecting activity, pipeline development, and performance metrics while reporting results to sales development leadership.
  • Participate in sales training, development programs, peer learning, and team challenges designed to continuously improve performance.
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar technologies as a regular part of prospecting, research, communication, organization, and other day-to-day workflows.
  • Experiment with new approaches, share learnings with teammates, and contribute to the ongoing development of AI-enabled sales practices.
  • Take ownership of challenges, act on coaching quickly, and continuously improve sales effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of professional work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen actively, build rapport, communicate value, and persuade prospects.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Creative problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Genuine interest in technology, SaaS, innovation, and how emerging tools can improve business outcomes.
  • Strong motivation to learn, grow, and develop a long-term career in sales.
  • Competitive, results-oriented mindset combined with strong coachability and an openness to feedback.
  • Demonstrated ownership, resilience, and ability to overcome obstacles through school, sports, previous employment, or other experiences.
  • Comfort using AI tools regularly as part of professional workflows, with sound judgment about when AI-generated outputs require review, refinement, or replacement.
  • Curiosity about how AI can transform sales and willingness to experiment with new approaches and share learnings.
  • Reliable internet access and a quiet, distraction-free home working environment.
  • Experience with HubSpot or another CRM is a plus.
  • Previous SaaS, construction, or technology experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in sales, account management, hospitality, logistics, or another relationship-driven, high-effort environment is also valued.
  • Proven sales overachievement, such as President’s Club or Rep of the Year recognition, is a plus.
Benefits:
  • Base salary of $60,000 per year, plus $20,000 in variable compensation, for total on-target earnings of $80,000.
  • Monthly commissions tied to sales-qualified lead (SQL) targets.
  • Remote work environment for candidates authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • 95% employer coverage of employee medical, dental, and vision premiums, plus 50% coverage for dependents.
  • 401(k) plan with up to a 4% company match, immediately vested.
  • 20 paid time-off days, 48 hours of sick time, 9 paid holidays, and a paid volunteer day.
  • Annual all-expenses-paid international company retreat.
  • Company-paid $50,000 life insurance, AD&D, and short-term disability coverage, with additional optional insurance offerings.
  • $300 annual professional development stipend.
  • Five-year sabbatical benefit including two additional weeks of PTO and a $1,000 travel bonus.
  • Paid parental leave of 10 weeks for birthing parents and 4 weeks for non-birthing parents.
  • Company-provided laptop and necessary home-office equipment.
  • Strong internal mobility and opportunities for career advancement.
  • A culture that encourages experimentation, creativity, and continuous improvement without unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Team recognition, virtual and in-person events, peer connection initiatives, and a collaborative remote culture.
