Job Description
The Administrative Assistant for Enrollment Management is the operational hub of the Office of Admissions and the first point of contact for prospective students and families.
This role keeps the enrollment engine running: managing prospect and applicant records in the College's CRM, coordinating campus visits and recruitment events, producing the reports that guide enrollment decisions, and providing day-to-day administrative support across Admissions, Financial Aid, Short-Term Programs, and Marketing.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail-obsessed, warm on the phone, calm under deadline, and motivated by work that directly helps students who learn differently find their college home.
Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as the front line of the Office of Admissions: answer phones, greet visitors, and respond to inquiries from prospective students, parents, and school counselors by phone and email, representing Landmark College professionally at every touchpoint.
- Maintain accurate, complete prospect and applicant records in the College's CRM (Slate), including data entry, record updates, file maintenance, and document processing. for all stages of the admissions funnel.
- Assist in the coordination for campus events, including open houses, visit days, and college fairs: registration, event and invitation lists, and material preparation. Requires availability for some evening and weekend events.
- Generate reports and data extracts in Slate and Excel - including inquiry, application, and event registration reports.
- Support campus visits operations i.e. schedule visits, prepare confirmations and itineraries, coordinate tour logistics, and ensure students and families have a welcoming experience
- Support the Admissions, Financial Aid, Short-Term Programs, and Marketing departments with cross-office projects.
Experience
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible work history. Clear record of completing assignments accurately and independently.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Discretion and sound judgement with confidential and sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Works effectively both independently and in a team environment, collaborates across departments, and understands working in an, student-facing office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Slate or another CRM, and experience maintaining database records.
- Prior experience in higher education admissions, enrollment management, or a student-facing office.
- Experience supporting event planning, campus visit programs, or hospitality operations.

Physical and Work Environment
- This position is primarily performed in a shared office environment within a professional higher education setting. The employee works in close proximity to colleagues and should be comfortable working in an environment with regular conversation, collaboration, and occasional interruptions.
- The position may also require occasional standing, walking throughout campus, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying office materials, files, or supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.
