Impact you will make?
As a Manager, you will have a direct impact on the performance of the operations team and the success of our clients. You’ll lead the day-to-day operations of your team, ensuring workloads are balanced, productivity and quality goals are achieved, and high-priority accounts are moving efficiently toward payment and resolution. By using data and operational reporting to identify trends, remove barriers, and address opportunities, you’ll play a critical role in helping the team consistently deliver against key performance indicators and client expectations.
What will you do
- Consistently demonstrates Aspirion’s values
- Oversee the daily operations of assigned Operations Team members
- Work directly with Director, VP of Operations and The People Team regarding staffing and staff issues/concerns
- Work closely with other departments including but not limited to RSD, DCD, and the Clinical Ops Team to ensure client expectations are met/exceeded and issues communicated by the client(s) is being resolved timely and accurately
- Conducts on-going research to ensure industry knowledge remains current and up to date
- Participate in client meetings as requested
- Facilitate and participate in internal leadership meetings
- Utilize reports to assist with managing inventory and ensure service line KPIs are met
- Review Operations Team members’ caseloads daily to ensure equality of inventory and adjust assignments as needed to meet company goals and metrics
- Review high dollar inventory regularly to ensure accounts are worked, timely, efficiently and is moving in the right direction to payment/resolution
- Conduct a monthly review of aged accounts
- Ensure payments are properly posted for each client
- Review accounts for closureIdentify and report hospital and payer trends
- Complete staff evaluations timely providing details related to performance and identify goals in coordination with Director of Operations
- Assist in staff development and training for all team members including: Identifying training opportunities, preparing training materials, and conducting training sessions and mentoring staff members as opportunities arise
- Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills to always portray positive, respectful and collaborative communication
- Manage time off and PTO requests in payroll system and on shared calendars
- Follow established procedures and protocols to perform job duties while adhering to regulations and policies set forth by the company
- Provide mentoring and guidance with team members
- Monitor productivity and quality of work completed by staff and discuss findings with team members
- Identify and report issues impacting productivity including identification of staffing needs
- Perform interviews and make selection decisions
- Conduct team meetings including completing agenda and meeting minutes
- Provide incentive ideas to maintain motivation
- Complete other projects and tasks, as needed and/or requested
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional
- Ability to multi-task, effectively switching between tasks as required
- Ability to produce results through delegation
- Must have effective coaching & mentoring skills
- Demonstrated strong oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management

- Ability to use Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint in addition to experience working in various client systems and payer portals

What we would like to see
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of responsible leadership experience in management or supervisory position preferred
- Minimum of 2 years related industry experience required
- Minimum of 6 months experience as an Appeals Specialist or above level at Aspirion required
