This role sits at the intersection of enterprise sales, technical strategy, and engineering intelligence, supporting complex evaluations of a modern AI-driven engineering platform. You will partner closely with senior Account Executives to lead high-impact technical discovery and shape compelling product demonstrations for executive stakeholders. The role requires translating complex engineering challenges into clear business outcomes that resonate with CTOs and VPs of Engineering. You will act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle, influencing strategic decisions in fast-paced enterprise environments. Beyond pre-sales execution, you will help refine scalable processes and improve demo environments to strengthen team performance. You will also collaborate with product and engineering teams to bring real customer insights into the roadmap. This is a high-impact position for someone who combines technical depth with commercial acumen and a strong operator mindset.
- Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise prospects, partnering with Account Executives to identify pain points and map solutions that drive measurable business impact.
- Design and deliver tailored demos and proof-of-concepts that clearly communicate platform value to technical and executive audiences.
- Drive strategic conversations with senior stakeholders, translating engineering challenges into business outcomes and ROI narratives.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide structured customer feedback and influence product direction.
- Support the development and refinement of scalable sales engineering playbooks, demo environments, and reusable technical assets.
- Mentor peers across the sales engineering and go-to-market organization to elevate overall execution quality.
- Integrate AI-driven capabilities into customer discussions to showcase productivity, forecasting, and engineering optimization use cases.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in enterprise B2B software sales engineering, including complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, DevOps practices, and engineering productivity metrics.
- Ability to engage confidently with executive-level stakeholders, including CTOs and VPs of Engineering.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills across technical and business audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Experience mentoring or supporting peers in a collaborative, team-oriented setting.
- Familiarity with consultative sales methodologies such as MEDDICC or SPICED is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise software pre-sales is strongly preferred.
