This is a strategic procurement leadership role focused on shaping enterprise-wide Food & Beverage category strategy across a diverse portfolio of venues and operating environments. You will be responsible for driving value creation through cost optimization, supplier innovation, and enhanced service quality while ensuring alignment with commercial, operational, and guest experience objectives. The role requires close collaboration with operations, culinary, finance, legal, and venue leadership teams to build scalable and high-performing supplier ecosystems. You will lead complex sourcing initiatives and long-term category planning across national and local supplier networks. With a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making and stakeholder influence, this position plays a key role in transforming procurement into a strategic business function. It is ideal for a commercially minded leader passionate about hospitality, food systems, and large-scale operational excellence.
- Lead the development and execution of multi-year Food & Beverage category strategies aligned with organizational growth, venue operations, and market dynamics.
- Drive end-to-end category management including segmentation, sourcing strategy, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.
- Manage complex RFPs and commercial negotiations to optimize pricing, service levels, risk mitigation, and long-term value creation.
- Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships across food, beverage, distribution, and specialty categories.
- Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality, service, compliance, and innovation, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with operations, culinary, finance, legal, and venue teams to translate business needs into scalable sourcing strategies.
- Ensure alignment with procurement governance, ESG objectives, supplier diversity initiatives, and sustainability goals.
- Own category analytics, savings tracking, and financial reporting to support executive-level decision-making.
- Support procurement transformation initiatives, including process standardization and digital enablement efforts.
Requirements:
- 4–6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management with strong exposure to Food & Beverage environments.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-scale or multi-site sourcing strategies in complex organizations.
- Strong negotiation, commercial acumen, and contract management skills across high-value agreements.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and influencing senior leadership in matrixed environments.
- Familiarity with procurement systems such as Coupa and data-driven sourcing methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage spend data, savings tracking, and performance reporting.
- Understanding of supplier diversity, ESG initiatives, and sustainable sourcing practices.
- Ability to balance national sourcing strategies with local operational requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
