Rental Counter Supervisor in ELKO, Nevada at Budget Car Rental

Avis Budget Elko is currently hiring for a supervisor counter agent to work both mornings and 1 hr. in the evenings. This position duties include but is not limited to:

• Operate the computer counter agent control system in all relevant areas efficiently
• Open and close rental contracts accurately, contract modification, print and update manifest etc.
• Clean vehicles (washing, vacuuming, etc.) and prepare for rental
• Occasionally help shuttle rental vehicles to and from other locations
• Address customer inquiries, such as, explanation of charges, vehicle damages, directions, etc.
• Promote and sell coverages and upgrades (additional insurance, GPS, upgrade in rental type, etc.)
• Perform general office duties such as answering phones, photocopying, and maintaining a clean and professional work space
• Support a team environment by assisting other agents and/or other areas when needed

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of customer service experience (retail, sales, or travel industry preferred)
• Professional communication skills and problem resolution experience
• Proficient in general office equipment i.e. fax machines, calculators, photocopiers, etc.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check
• Must work weekends
