Direct Hire Traveler, CNA in Wakefield, Rhode Island at South County Hospital

We are delighted to announce that we are offering a Direct Hire Traveler Program for experienced CNAs this summer! This program offers premium rates and the chance for you to utilize your nursing assistant skills in targeted specialties within South County Health. Experienced CNAs will commit to a 13-week assignment, 36 hours/week.

As a Direct Hire Traveler CNA, you will be responsible for providing compassionate personal care, comfort, and safety for patients. The PCT I (CNA) works within their scope of practice and is assigned tasks that are reasonably predictable, do not require assessment, interpretation or independent decision-making during its performance, or do not pose any risk to the patient. The PCT I is attentive not only the needs of patients but also to the needs of the family accompanying the patient. The PCT I collaborates with all members of the health care team to provide care.

What you’ll need to qualify:

• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of CNA experience
• Hospital experience is preferred
• Valid BLS from American Safety/American Heart Association
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to work the overnight shift
