HYBRID: Qualified candidates must live or relocate within a 180-mile radius of a hub location listed below and should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer on the Life Modernization Centralized Test team, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions that enable high-quality Integration, End-to-End (E2E), and regression testing for large, cross-functional initiatives. You will collaborate closely with product teams, business partners, architects, and fellow engineers to ensure complex business capabilities are thoroughly validated across multiple applications and services. This role requires a strong software engineering mindset, a passion for quality, and the ability to leverage modern technologies—including Playwright, AI-assisted development tools, and test automation best practices—to build scalable, maintainable automation that improves efficiency, accelerates delivery, and enhances software quality.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in software quality engineering with demonstrated expertise in both manual and automated testing of complex enterprise applications using Tosca
- Life Modernization expertise, including experience with Integration and E2E testing of critical business workflows for products on OIPA (Life Policy Administration Tool).
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining automated test solutions using Playwright and JavaScript.
- Experience designing and executing Integration, End-to-End (E2E), API, and regression testing strategies for complex, distributed applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated test execution, test data management, and continuous quality engineering practices.
- Demonstrated curiosity, innovation, and the ability to effectively leverage AI-assisted development to accelerate development, improve automation quality, and continuously enhance engineering practices.

- Potential starting salary range: $100,000 - $130,000
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
