We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to lead warehouse operations, oversee crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Position SummaryThe Commercial Roofing Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day field management of commercial roofing projects. This role oversees field personnel and subcontractors, coordinates jobsite activities, enforces safety and quality standards, monitors production, and works closely with Project Managers, customers, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise commercial roofing crews and subcontractors on multiple active projects.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage daily field operations to achieve production, quality, and schedule objectives.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and customer requirements.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits, safety meetings, inspections, and quality control reviews.
- Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure proper installation.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and deliveries to maximize productivity.
- Track labor productivity, job progress, and project milestones while communicating updates to Project Managers.
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly to minimize project delays.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, job documentation, time records, and safety documentation.
- Build positive working relationships with customers, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
- Train, mentor, and develop Foremen and field personnel.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Assist with project closeout activities, punch lists, warranty inspections, and customer turnover.
- 5+ years of commercial roofing experience with increasing field leadership responsibilities.
- Experience supervising commercial roofing crews and subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, metal roofing, coatings, and roof repairs.
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient with smartphones, tablets, Microsoft Outlook, and basic computer applications.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
