Position Summary:
The Division of Education, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a Medical Education Program Coordinator to join theadministrative team to collect, analyze, and in some cases enter data from a varietyof sources and offer recommendations that will support compliance and programimprovement for both the Residency and the Undergraduate medical EducationProgram. This role will also hold primary responsibility for updating andmaintaining websites and social media platforms for the residency andfellowships within Internal Medicine for the purpose of attracting high qualityresidents and fellows to the University of New Mexico. The Program Coordinatorwill work closely with the Program Manager and both the Residency and ClerkshipProgram Directors to identify trends and issues affecting student success andresident learning.

The Coordinator will also assist the recruitment of newresidents to UNM, and in the maintenance of relevant databases. This position demands a high level ofcomputer proficiency in programs such as Cascade, New Innovations, One45,Smartsheet, and others. Exceptionalanalytical skills, ability to learn new programs, offer solutions to complexproblems and communicate professionally will be essential for the successfulcandidate. The Coordinator will also support the fellowship programs inmaintaining and updating social media accounts and web pages intended to informand recruit fellows to Internal Medicine sub-specialty programs.
